This program was established in March 2006. Our mission is to provide college scholarships for senior high school athletes who have fought the battle of cancer or have a parent that has fought the battle. This program is open to all 50 United States. We provide at least one scholarship per year but it is our goal to provide one scholarship per state per year. If you would like to volunteer to help raise funds to be able to provide a scholarship for a student in your state, please contact us at . We also provide monetary gifs to our Inspiration Award Winners and our Athletes Of The Month. Maya Silver interviewed both of my children and me for a new book she and her Dad are working on together. Please read the following announcement and contact her, if you would like to participate........... "Were you between the ages of 12 and 19 when your parent had cancer? Marc Silver (author of Breast Cancer Husband) and his daughter, Maya Silver, are writing a guide for teens whose parents have ...or had cancer and are interviewing teens. Interview are short, can be anonymous and can be conducted in person, over the phone or over email. The guide will be published by Sourcebooks, Inc. in 2012.
