College Scholarship Award

Minium Amount of Scholarships awarded: $1,000.00 each

These athletes are a great inspiration to their coaches, teammates and all who know them.

Our  scholarship will be awarded to a senior High School Athlete who:

1. Will be playing their sport for the college they will be attending.

 2. Has fought the battle of cancer, during the past 4 high school years.

3. Nominated by their High School athletic coach.  (See nomination details below) 

*The Athlete must be nominated by his/her High School Coach 

The coach will write a letter of nomination including the following....

1. A general history of the Athlete as he/she relates to the team

2.  The impact the Athlete has had on the team

3.  The impact the Athlete has made on you, the coach.

4.   Explain the Athlete's specific type cancer, general overview of treatments and present health status. 

5. Please give us any other information you would like to share about the player and why he/she should recieve the scholarship award.

Coaches Please Note: Nominations must be sent from your school e-mail address

Scholarship money will be awarded directly to the college where the student will be attending unless other circumstances are approved by our Board Members.

Deadline for Nominations:  April 25, 2012

The Scholarship Winner's Coach will be notified on April 30, 2012
